Adelaide was born on May 22nd, 1830 in Athlone, W-Mth, Irlnd.¹ Adelaide's father was James FORD (1799) and her mother was Sarah SCHOFIELD (CHR-1803). Her paternal grandparents are Benjamin FORD and Catharine FIRTLER; her maternal grandparents are Thomas SCHOFIELD and Martha. She had nine brothers and seven sisters, named James, Robert, Robert, John, John, Benjamin, Benjamin, Charles, Charles, Mary, Jane, Jane, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Caroline and Caroline. She was the third oldest of the seventeen children. She died at the age of 78 on April 7th, 1909 in Lehi, Utah, Ut. She was buried on April 11th, 1909 in Lehi, Utah, Ut.¹¹
