Thomas was born in 1708 in Meldreth, Cambridge, England and his baptism took place there on August 27th, 1708.¹ Thomas' father was Thomas PRIME and his mother was Mary SPURGEON. His paternal grandfather is Thomas PRIME and his paternal grandmother was Anne PARKER. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, James, Mary, Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth, Susan, Hannah and Mary. He is the third oldest of the eleven children.
