James Monzearl SKEEN

James Monzearl was born on March 10th, 1862 in Plain City, Weber, Ut.¹ James Monzearl's father was William Dolby SKEEN and his mother was Caroline Smart SMITH. His paternal grandfather is Joseph SKEENS and his paternal grandmother was Maria Amanda DOLBY; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Johnson SMITH and Mary Ann SMART. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Joseph William, Son, Willard Arthur, Lafayette Eugene, Caroline Maria, Jane Sophia, Amanda Maria, Mary Ann, Rosabelle, Lydia Ethel, Beatrice Pearl and Ada Myrtle. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 78 on March 14th, 1940.¹
