John Evans Turpin Blackler

John Evans Turpin was born in 1855 in Totnes,Devon,England.  John Evans Turpin's father is Richard Henry Blackler and his mother is Mary Ann Turpin.  His paternal grandparents are Thomas Blackler and Rebecca Norris; his maternal grandparents are Male Turpin and Mary. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Samuel Turpin, George Turpin, Mary Ann, Ellen, Eliza and Minnie Kate.  He is the fourth youngest of the eight children.

They have two daughters named Sarah Kemp Evans and Ada Alice.
