Isaac was born in 1628. Isaac's father was Thomas Halsey and his mother was Elizabeth Wheeler. His paternal grandparents are Robert Halsey and Ellen Alley; his maternal grandparents were John Wheeler and Elizabeth. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Daniel and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 97 on January 31st, 1725 in Southampton,Long Island,New York.
