Mabel was born on May 3rd, 1908 in Wallington, Surrey, England. Mabel's father was James Webber and her mother was Beatrice Longley. Her maternal grandparents were Spencer Longley and Ann Austen. She had a brother and a sister, named James and Phyllis. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 90 in 1998 in Chippenham, Wiltshire, England.
