Jane was born on June 3rd, 1805 in Little Paxton, Hntgtn, Engl, Hunts and her baptism took place in Little Paxton, Hunts, Eng.¹ Jane's father was William THORNTON and her mother was Elizabeth CHRISTIAN. Her paternal grandparents are John THORNTON and Ann. She had three sisters named June, Jane and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 82 on August 25th, 1887 in Provo, Utah, Ut. She was buried in Provo City Cem. Utha, Ut.¹¹
