Clarence was born on April 9th, 1905 in Horley, Surrey. England. Clarence's father was Josiah Kenward and his mother was Mary Maynard. His paternal grandparents were Robert Kenward and Amelia Daniels. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Josiah, James, Arthur, Ronald, Elizabeth, Florence, Gertrude, Mabel, Bertha, Beatrice and Grace. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 79 in 1984 in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, England.
