Edwin Tearle was born on August 22nd, 1874 in Lehi, Utah, Ut.¹ Edwin Tearle's father was John ROBERTS and his mother was Adelaide FORD. His paternal grandparents were John ROBERTS (1785) and Mary DARCY (1795); his maternal grandparents were James FORD (1799) and Sarah SCHOFIELD (CHR-1803). He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, Robert, Joseph Moroni, James, Hyrum, David, Mary, Jane, Emily and Elizabeth Lillian. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 51 on January 21st, 1926.¹
