Elizabeth SMITH

Elizabeth was born on July 3rd, 1777 in Frederick Co., Virginia and her baptism took place in Hopewell Friends, Frederick Co., Virginia.¹   Elizabeth's father was Jacob SMITH and her mother is Patience BALLINGER.  Her paternal grandfather was Joseph SMITH and her paternal grandmother is Rachel BEALS BALES. She had six half-brothers and six half-sisters, named John, Joseph, Josiah B., Jacob, Isaac S., Seth, Rachel, Nancy Ann, Mary, Lydia, Sarah J. and Hannah.  She died at the age of 56 on January 22nd, 1834 in Green Co., Ohio.  She was buried in Shigley Cemetery, Ross Twp., Green Co., Ohio.^1 1
